2026 Summer Trips

2026 Middle School Trip
July 12-15, 2026
Minneapolis, MN
Open to 6th - 8th Graders (2025-2026 School Year)

We are spending a few days with Service Learning Camps.  Each day, we will serve at 2 different sites each day, led by a local coordinator.  We'll also take time to talk about our service each day, learning about the needs of the community and the ways people find creative ways to meet the needs.  We'll also have daily devotions, fun adventures around the city, and we'll eat some great food.  

Lodging: Will be determined soon.

Cost:  $325
Trinity will contribute $100 towards the registrastion cost of all active participants.  This cost will be deducted from the cost of the trip after sign up, bringing the cost to $225.

2026 High School Trip
July 25-August 1, 2026
Portland, OR
Open to 9th - 12th Graders (2025-2026 School Year)

We are spending a week with Service Learning Camps.  Each day, we will serve at 2 different sites each day, led by a local coordinator who has lived and served in Portland for years.  Each night, we'll take time to talk about our service, enjoy good food, and spend time in Portland.  At the end of our trip, we'll take a trip to the Oregon coast to see the Pacific ocean. 

Lodging: Northwest Portland Hostel
For 35+ years, the Portland Hostel has served the area.  It was recently named the Best Hostel in the US.  Our Trinity Group has reserved the Group Center, which will be perfect for our group.

Transportation:  Trains, Vans, and Planes
Our hope is to take the Amtrak train out to Portland.  The train takes us through Glacier National Park and along the Columbia River Gorge with spectactular views.  In Portland, we'll use rented vans.  At the end of our trip, we'll fly home.

Cost:  $1,350
Trinity will contribute $200 towards the registrastion cost of all active participants.  This cost will be deducted from the cost of the trip after sign up, bringing the cost to $1,150.

Payment for Trip

A $50 deposit is required to register.  This can come from your YFM Account.  The deposit does go toward the total cost of the trip.

25% Paid by January 31
50% Paid by March 15
75% Paid by May 15
100% Paid by June 15

Trip Payments are non-refundable.  They are transferable, if you can find someone to take your place and travel arrangements can be transferred.
